What does the job involve? 

*         Supporting Lawyers with a broad range of commercial property matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, leasehold and freehold transactions from instruction through to completion.

*         Preparing and reviewing legal documents, correspondence, completion statements, invoices and reports, ensuring a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

*         Managing key stages of transactions, including obtaining Land Registry and search documents, handling post-completion work, submitting SDLT returns and progressing registrations.

*         Building positive relationships with clients, lenders and third parties through telephone, email and face-to-face communication, delivering an excellent client experience throughout.

*         Using case management systems, HM Land Registry and Companies House resources to efficiently progress matters and maintain accurate file records.

*         Supporting the wider team with diary management, meeting preparation and general case administration while developing your own caseload over time.

 

What do you need? 

*         C. 12 months' experience within a Commercial Property Paralegal or similar legal support role.

*         Practical knowledge of commercial property transactions and the ability to manage tasks across multiple matters effectively.

*         Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

*         Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

*         A proactive, self-motivated approach, keen attention to detail and a desire to continue learning and developing within Commercial Property.

*         Confidence using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems; experience with SOS Connect would be advantageous.
