Proud to be inclusive

At Talbots Law, we believe inclusivity is not just a commitment, it is a shared responsibility and a defining part of who we are.

We are proud to offer a workplace where people are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work, grow with confidence, and make a meaningful impact. If you are looking for a firm that values your individuality, invests in your development, and empowers you to succeed, we would love to hear from you.

Get involved and make an impact

At Talbots Law, we encourage every colleague to take part in building and strengthening our inclusive culture. There are many ways to get involved, depending on your interests and aspirations:

  • Support ED&I initiatives by contributing to events, sharing ideas, or joining our focused committee and working groups

  • Attend workshops, awareness sessions, and celebrations to build understanding and connections across the firm

  • Share your voice by offering feedback, perspectives, and ideas that help shape a better workplace for all

  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to drive meaningful change and continuous improvement

Every contribution, big or small, helps us create a workplace where everyone can succeed.

Our commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) Committee plays a key role in shaping an inclusive and progressive working environment. Its purpose is to ensure that all colleagues feel valued and able to reach their full potential.

We focus on four core priorities:

Equity - we provide the tools, resources, and support individuals need to succeed, recognising that everyone’s journey is different.

Equality - We are committed to fairness and actively work to remove barriers, challenge bias, and ensure equal opportunities for all.

Diversity - We celebrate the unique backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences that strengthen our firm and enrich our culture.

Inclusion - We create a workplace where every voice is heard, respected, and encouraged, and where people feel confident to be themselves.

Proud to be inclusive

At Talbots Law, we are committed to creating a workplace where every individual has the opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive. These principles are central to our culture and influence everything we do, from the way we collaborate to the experiences we create for our people.

We recognise that our success is driven by the talent, perspectives, and dedication of our colleagues. That’s why we actively foster an environment where everyone feels respected, supported, and empowered to perform at their best.

Events

Birmingham Pride

We proudly take part in the Birmingham Pride Parade each year, recognising it as a powerful celebration of unity, acceptance, and inclusion. It’s an opportunity to show our commitment to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds to join us—it's a great way to connect with colleagues, celebrate diversity, and be part of a vibrant, uplifting event. 🌈

Mental Health Wellbeing Week

From refreshing Wellbeing Walks and a relaxed Wellbeing Evening with crafts and Bingo, to a team day at Sedgley Adventure Centre, we’ve created meaningful moments to pause and prioritise wellbeing throughout Metal Health Awareness Week . It’s a reminder that life extends beyond the 9–5, and we are proud to be a workplace that truly recognises and supports this.
